New Elements

If you have any of my poster or card deck products printed before one or more of these recently named elements was named, and you can't stand the fact that it's out of date now, you have a couple of options.

If you want to buy an entirely new copy (which I'm of course entirely in favor of), you should know that all currently-shipping products at this time are still missing the latest four (113, 115, 117, and 118). The only exception is my Periodic Table Quilt (because they are made to order). All other products will get updated from time to time as we run out of stock of the old version: I'll add links to them here as they become available.

If you don't want to wait, you can patch up your old versions by downloading and printing the images you need from this page. To download one of the images, click on it, then right-click (control-click on Mac) on the large version that will open in a new window and choose Download Image from the popup menu you should get. You'll need to measure the size of the image you need for the particular version of the poster you're updating, then use appropriate software to print the image at that size. (Sorry, there are too many possible variations of product and kinds of printers for me to be more specific about how you'd do that with your computer.)

Sorry for this partial solution, but when people go and literally change the periodic table, it's going to cause some temporary pain. The good news is that it's over now! All 118 elements in the standard configuration of the periodic table now have final, official names. If anyone tries to discover element 119, I think the periodic table makers of the world will unite to ignore them.
